Listen to Jay-Z’s “Blueprint 3” before it comes out!

As most of you know who are avid hip-hop followers, Jay-Z’s eleventh studio album “Blueprint 3” will drop in stores September 3. However, Recessinreallife.com has an exclusive look at most of the tracks that will be on the album, courtesy of Datpiff.com. I came across this mixtape today and had to share it with the rest of you. Of course all of the Jigga man’s songs are exactly what we would expect from him: the perfect mix of his master lyricism and that brooklyn hood swag we all know and love. Jigga never ceases to amaze me and I know this album is gonna be fire, something that he knows we wouldn’t expect any less of on one of his albums. Jigga’s sound demonstrates his maturity and veteran status within the rap game, yet still brings something fresh to the game with his collabo’s with such up and coming stars as Drake, Kid Cudi and veterans like Jeezy and Alicia Keys. One of my favorites is Jay’s hard collabo with Swizzy in “On To the Next One.” Be sure to listen to this, you won’t be disappointed. There is also some ill songs on there that aren’t Jigga’s, like Lloyd’s “Pusha” ft. Juelz Santana (eh hem when’s YOUR album finally gonna drop) and “World Tour” by Wale ft. Jazmine Sullivan (prod. by Cool and Dre). In order to access the mixtape just click the “download mixtape” link below and it will go straight to the mixtape page (don’t worry it’s safe). Hope you like it and leave comments to let me know what you think. Peace for now.

Playground Talk, March 31st- April 6th

“Fast and Furious” made an unbelievable $72.5 million this weekend. Honestly, I thought that “Monsters vs. Aliens” would be in the top spot again. At least they were second place. Did anyone go see it this weekend? Let us know what you think.

Lady GaGa is continuing to be on top of the music charts. Her latest single “Poker Face” is #1 on Billboard. I like the song, but I think  “Just Dance” will be stuck in everyone’s head  for a while longer.

Overall, it was a slower week in new releases for both movies and music, but this week we have a lot to look forward to. Seth Rogen will be coming out in another movie, “Observe and Report” and we have a few new artists to report on, so check back with us for more reviews.
